Quantum Materiae

Quantum Materiae is a Renaissance-style motet using the Latin translation of a beautiful text by Robert Howard Davis about one of life’s most cryptic questions.

“How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”

The recording is taken from the piece's world premiere on October 23rd, 2015 by the Dordt College Kantorei under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Kornelis. If you would like to purchase the sheet music, it is available at Musicspoke’s website.
